Cathie Feild, Executive Director  (cfeild@ncaeyc.org)
Cathie has a long history with NAEYC. While living in Maryland , she worked for NAEYC and was Co-President and Membership Chair of her local affiliate. After moving to North Carolina , Cathie served as Program Specialist for NCaeyc in 2001-2002 before becoming a full-time student at UNC-CH where she received her master's degree in education with a focus on early childhood research and policy in 2004. She was working towards a Ph.D. in early childhood education and serving on the NCaeyc Governing Board prior to becoming the Executive Director. Other work experiences include Program Specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition and Graduate Assistant at the FPG Child Development Institute.

 
     

Patricia Hendrickson, Chief Operations Officer   (phendrickson@ncaeyc.org)

Patti has over 30 years’ experience in both the private and non-profit business sectors in the areas of office and financial management, accounting, and administrative support. Her experiences include the Wake County Child Care Resource and Referral, YWCA in Nashville, TN, PMM in Fort Wayne, IN, DHIC and SRDI in Raleigh.

 
     

Roshi Bull-Turner, Director of Development   (rturner@ncaeyc.org)

Roshi’s career in the nonprofit sector spans over seven years, with nonprofit agencies such as the American Red Cross, Hospice and Palliative Care and most recently the Victory Junction Gang Camp, which enabled her to perfect the skills needed for nonprofit development and event planning. Raised in a family of educators with more than 60 years of experience, it was no coincidence that lead her to NCaeyc. Roshi received her B. A. from Bennett College , her Nonprofit Management Certificate from UNC-G and is pursing a Masters of Public Affairs.

 

Chris Butler, Administrative Assistant

Chris has over 26 years experience in a public high school as Head Secrectary/Administrative Assistant for the Watertown, Connecticut Board of Education prior to her relocation to Raleigh in 2004.  Her work experience primarily involved preparing and managing departmental budgets, overseeing federal, state and local grant spending, managing the Student Activity fund as well as supervising the daily operation of the school.  Chris and her husband retired to Raleigh to spend time with their daughter and son-in-law, longer summers, shorter winters, and lots of golf.
