Overview of Affiliate
NCaeyc Southwest is your local affiliate serving Mecklenburg and Union Counties.  It is made up of an active Board and Conference Committee.  Like NCaeyc, we promote excellence in care, education and services for all children, birth through age eight.  We are committed to supporting programs and professionals serving young children and their families locally.   In the past couple of years we have sponsored Journal Jams (discussions on topics from the latest YC! journal) and programs such as the Early Childhood Winter Event and Healthy Fun Fair during Week of the Young Child.  We have plans to do more and we need your help and support to do so!  For example, we would like to expand Journal Jam, have membership socials, develop a support system for NAEYC Accredited Programs, increase involvement and diversity on the Board. Contact Janie or Kristen for more information.
